Metin Çıngıloğlu is the only venue in Turgutreis that operates with a breakfast concept, but it is more than just a breakfast spot—it is also a large delicatessen offering countless breakfast products for sale. It has gained considerable popularity across Bodrum and supplies products to many restaurants as well.

Located right across from Turgutreis Marina, Metin Çıngıloğlu offers both indoor and outdoor seating options.

Currently, there are six branches of Metin Çıngıloğlu across Bodrum, but only the Turgutreis branch serves breakfast. And here’s some good news: a seventh branch is set to open soon in Torba!

The owner, Mr. Metin, personally ensures the freshness of the products. Apart from their own cheese varieties, you can enjoy Turkey’s geographically marked specialty cheeses, olives, incredibly delicious natural honey varieties, and sugar-free jams. We are sure you will want to take some home with you after your holiday. Don’t forget to check out the jam section in the delicatessen!

You can find a white cheese to suit every taste, but our favorite is Meyhane Cheese. We also think you will love the Sweet Curd Cheese, Konya Kırması, Bodrum Tulum, and Aged Kars Kashar. If you’re heading home, make sure to grab some Konya Kırması—it pairs perfectly with a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of red pepper flakes for an unforgettable breakfast. As for the Sweet Curd Cheese, we recommend enjoying it with jam or marmalade.

The breakfast menu caters to all preferences; you can order a spread for two, four, or six people. The ‘Special Breakfast’ for four or six people is a true feast for the table.

Aside from the classic breakfast spread, you can find Diet Breakfast, English Breakfast, Bowls, various types of Borek and Pogaca, different Omelets, Menemen, Toasts, Sandwiches, and Salads.

We highly recommend trying their boreks when you visit Metin Çıngıloğlu. These hand-rolled pastries are always served hot. The famous Milas Böreği is a customer favorite, and the Potato, Cheese, and Minced Meat Kol Böreks are among our top picks. The Labneh-filled Kol Börek is especially delicious.

Another must-try dish is the Pan-Fried Eggs with both pastrami and sucuk (Turkish sausage). The pastrami is cumin-free, and their specially produced kavurma (braised meat) is also worth trying—it’s sourced from Çaldıran Village in Van. The Pan-Fried Kavurma will be one of those dishes you won’t want to share!

One initiative that makes us very happy at Metin Çıngıloğlu is their food waste policy: leftover cheese and meat products from breakfast tables are separated in the kitchen and given to stray animals.

Before we forget, Metin Çıngıloğlu also produces its own special olive oil. If you are looking for high-quality, delicious olive oil, you should definitely give it a try. You can visit their website and place an online order via this link.

Metin Çıngıloğlu is open year-round and has seating for about 100 people. Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The delicatessen section remains open until 8:00 PM in winter and 11:00 PM in summer. Unfortunately, they do not take reservations, so if you are coming with a large group, we recommend sending someone ahead to grab a table. Finding an empty table during the summer season can be quite challenging, so arriving around 9:00 AM will increase your chances!

Also they are giving breakfast services with these charcuterie products. For me it is a reasonable place for good breakfast and price performance. I am not sure for the reservation but when I went there there were a few free table....
